We’re looking to create memorable and engaging experiences. “Country Chic” events are more popular than ever, and what better to serve than large cuts of meat smoked over live fires. We don’t hide behind “reheat tricks” with pre-sliced or sauced meats. We’ll live slice whole cuts of fresh meat right onto your plate at our carving table. Skip the bbq sauce; like a good steak, true barbecue doesn’t need it! We believe that if you respect the quality and process, you’ll be able to taste the difference. It starts with using the best meat. We source hand selected Premium Black Angus Beef from Creekstone Farms, naturally raised local Duroc Pork and poultry and make all of our side in-house. We’re positive you’ve never experienced a meal like this before!
Meet Thomas Genest
Thomas is the owner and Chief Executive of Barbecue Affairs at Northbound Barbecue Co. He studied culinary chef training at George Brown College and proceeded to work in the fast paced kitchens of some of Toronto’s most popular restaurants including two featured on Toronto Life’s – Best New Restaurants 2015 & 2017. Passionate about meat and intrigued about cooking with live fire, Thomas made the move from fine dining to barbecue. It didn’t take long for Thomas to level up to “Pitmaster” status of several barbecue institutions downtown including Barque Smokehouse and Adamson Barbecue.
